At 10 years young and just 42 pounds, Stella is a gentle, low-energy husky mix who is all about soaking up the simple pleasures in life—soft beds, sunny spots, and quiet companionship. Stella has some age-related things going on (a little arthritis, some dental needs, and a skin mass that doesn’t bother her), but none of it dims her gentle spirit or her love for the little joys—like easy strolls, mellow playdates, and affectionate head scratches. She’s been a lovely, polite guest in playgroups at the shelter and enjoys the company of other dogs who are calm and respectful like her. What Stella’s looking for is simple: a soft place to land, a family to adore, and someone who understands that seniors are the hidden gems of the dog world. With a little extra TLC, Stella will light up your life with her quiet devotion and gentle presence.
