My story

Relaxed, Sweet, Brave Meet Yirel! Yirel is a dashing two-year-old gentleman with a white and tan coat that’s as soft as a cloud—which fits perfectly, since this boy just loves to laze! His favorite hobbies include napping (professional level), eating (a true connoisseur), and rubbing up against his cat foster brother as if to say, “You’re okay, I guess.” Yirel isn't the most playful cat, preferring to relax, but he does occasionally play with the resident cat in his home and they get along well! Though Yirel is still mastering the art of indoor living after a wild past as a feral feline, he’s making incredible strides—mostly by snoozing through any anxiety. He can be a bit skittish as he adjusts, preferring calm and quiet homes where he can slowly get used to a new space without too many surprises. He does enjoy sharing space with his people, and you'll fall in love with his gravelly meow and cautious requests for pets. Winning his trust will feel like winning the lottery! When it comes to dogs, Yirel is cautiously optimistic. He’s a little wary of his small dog foster sister but with the right mellow canine companion and a slow introduction, Yirel might just expand his circle of trust—and maybe even tolerate a tail wag or two! In short, Yirel is the perfect addition if you need a mellow, sleepy sidekick who values food, friendship, and peace and quiet above all else.
