My story

🦮 A heartbreaking goodbye… and a hopeful new beginning. ❤️‍🩹 Lupo, formerly known as Professor, was adopted from us last year as a puppy—one of our sweet Power Puff Girls litter. His family has loved him deeply from the start. They watched him grow from a tiny pup into a 35 lb “mini Lab” with the sweetest soul and the happiest wiggle. But love isn’t always enough when health is involved. Despite trying everything—multiple doctors, treatments, and changes—severe and escalating allergies have made it impossible for Lupo to be part of daily life without putting someone’s health at risk. And keeping him separated from his people, when he lives to be with them, just isn’t fair to him. So with heavy hearts and tears in their eyes, his family made the incredibly selfless decision to let him go, in the hopes that the perfect new family is out there. Lupo is affectionate, loyal, and just the right mix of energy and sweetness. He’s not a couch potato, so an active household would be a great fit—one with kids, another friendly dog, or someone who’s home often. He’s definitely not cut out for the solo life of a single professional who’s away most of the day. He thrives in a full house with love, play, and attention. Patience is key with any transition, but we know that the right family will be smitten in no time.
