My story

Some cats are sweet. Some cats are resilient. And some — like Alfred — are both. Alfred is a beautiful, ~1-year-old cat (born in February 2021) with a front leg that doesn’t quite work like the others. Please don’t let that fool you — he gets around just fine and has a heart twice the size of his stride. In fact, he’s on top of the highest spot in his bedroom right now because nothing stops this amazing cat. Whether he’s trying to smother you with affection by laying on your chest or standing guard at the bottom of the bed or mmmrrrping for chin scratches, Alfred is always ready to share love. He’s incredibly friendly, trusting, and affectionate with other cats and people— the kind of cat who makes fast friends with everyone he meets. Alfred doesn’t see his leg as a problem, and neither should you. He climbs, plays, and naps like any other cat and plays aggressively every day with his kitten roommate. What he lacks in symmetry, he makes up for in absolute charm. He’s neutered, healthy, vetted, friendly, playful, gorgeous, soft, and ready for a forever home that will love his just as he is — because he’s perfect. He’ll be great with kids and other cats, and (as his foster), I’d recommend another cat around his age to keep him active. While he hasn’t been tested with dogs, his demeanor indicates he’d be a great fit for any family. Adopt Alfred and let him show you how sweet he is. https://www.hart2heartanimalrescue.com/forms/form?formid=6527

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Alfred, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
