My story

Hello, my name is Gambino! I’m a sweet, handsome brown tabby who made my way to Smittens after suffering a pretty serious leg wound. Thankfully, the wonderful team here helped me heal, and I’m feeling much better now! I’m a little shy at first, but I’ve been working closely with my foster mom to build my confidence - and I’ve come such a long way! You can see how relieved I am to be safe and off the streets. I show my gratitude with sweet head bumps, soft purrs, playful tumbles, and loving slow blinks. I’m incredibly affectionate and love nothing more than spending time with someone who makes me feel safe. Playtime is pure magic for me - every time my foster mom brings out the toys, I act like it’s the best thing that’s ever happened! I could play for hours, and the joy I feel is written all over my face. I’m also a smart kitty who listens well and respects boundaries. With a little time and patience, I’ll settle into my new home and become the loyal, loving companion you’ve been waiting for. I’d thrive best as the only cat in a calm, peaceful home. Other cats tend to get aggressive with me, even though I’m never mean - I’m just here to soak up love, stay out of trouble, and enjoy being cared for. Maybe, with a slow introduction, a gentle cat friend could work in the future, but for now, I’m happiest with all your love to myself!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Gambino, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
