My story

Adopt/Foster Toad! Toad is a very fun boy who would love to be your active partner! He loves to play, chase the ball and he gives free cuddles. He would love to go on long walks with the you and be your buddy. This boy has been in the pack since July 2023. He was first rescued when he was found on the streets of Modesto ca he was taken to the shelter. The shelter had him red listed to be put down due to him needing a medical rescue. When toad went into the shelter, he was at a healthy weight 30 days later somehow he was so thin and he had an obstruction. Nobody knows how but he had a ball of epoxy inside his stomach that needed surgery. We were able to get him care and save his life. Toad is a very sweet boy who would be an amazing active buddy during the day and give you cuddles when needed. He is very very strong so a solid experienced Pittie person would be an ideal adopter. He had some training to help him calm his impulses. He loves to play with dogs who don’t try and size him up. He’s a goofy guy that likes to hop around and enjoy life. He’s crate trained, potty trained, very playful and smart. With some patience, encouragement, and some yummy snacks, he could be trained in all sorts of tricks! He is able to play with big and small dogs. He also has been around kids and doing very well. He has been cat neutral. His foster parents had nicknamed him Toad, due to the way he hops to the sky when excited. Toad loves to speak in his jibber jabber. He has the most unique, funny voice when he gets excited. He’s also a perfectly calm napping buddy too. Please apply to meet Toad. He had been waiting too long for a home. Toad is located in San Bernadino , CA but can travel for meet and greets! For more info or an application, please contact Priscilla at packlyferescue@yahoo.com.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Toad, cool & calm companion!, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
