My story

This vivacious youngster is Desi, a 45 pound neutered male 2 yr old that arrived on 4/18 at the Mesquite Animal Shelter. Desi‘s coat has such interesting brindle coloring and he has chocolate brown eyes that will melt your heart! He walks well on a leash and may be housetrained. He knows the sit command and will happily do so for treats which he takes quite nicely. He has a spunky and enthusiastic personality. He also has an easy-going demeanor and a moderate activity level. He is friendly and perfectly OK with being petted and loved on. He has submitted his list of things that would be true of his dream home: 1) an inside life with his people, 2) daily playtime or exercise, 3) a cushy, comfy bed to snuggle into, 4) nutritious food and some yummy snacks and 5) a person or family who will stay committed to him and give him plenty of TLC.
