We have 4 month old twins that are having respiratory issues related to the cats and the litter and need to rehome them for the twins' health concerns. We hate to have to do this but hope to find them amazing and safe indoor homes . Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Weasley is very vocal and is always looking for attention, he also loves cuddling on the couch. He’s a great cat. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): litter box, a fresh bag of food and litter, food bowl and scratcher What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Simply Nourish High Protein Fish and Chicken Recipe, Inaba Churu wet treats We just hope be can get 2.5-3 oz. a day of wet food to keep him away from common dehydration related health issues that cats get. Please read below to learn more. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.
