My story

Churro is in need of a foster home while he awaits further medical treatment. Foster Reason: Heartworm Positive-asymptomatic, periodontal disease, elevated liver enzymes, anemia Foster Time Frame: Churro will return to us in a week for a recheck oral exam + bloodwork.Foster time frame could be longer depending on future medical results and needs. Foster Care Plan: Churro is a sweet pup looking for a foster home to rest and wait for his dental surgery. He is currently on soft food//treats and soft toys only. We advise the foster be gentle with handling him and around his mouth since he is still recovering. He will be fitted with an E-collar as well.He will have a medical consult upon pickup and the Operation Kindness Foster Team will supply all items necessary for a successful foster journey. Foster to Adopt Program: Churro is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
