My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Mocha is a 5 year old pretty tabby girl. We have only had her in our care for about a week, so we are still getting to know her personality but so far, she seems to have a more passive demeanor. She loves to be pet and purrs up a storm. She is also great at biscuit making, it seems to be one of her favorite pastimes. She has proven to be a little bit timid around other animals but that could be just because of all the changes she has gone through in a short time. We are fairly confident that if given enough time and, on her terms, she would be fine with another cat or cat savvy dog in the home. She also would be perfectly fine being your one and only. Her foster mom reports that she enjoys looking out the window and is completely obsessed with a string toy she found. We think a kitty perch or window hammock would be fabulous for her in her new home. And of course, a multitude of toys would also be welcomed. She would be an excellent companion for someone who works from home or perhaps is retired. If you would like to give this girl a chance at a new beginning, please apply to adopt her today!
