My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:I have lived with cats in my previous home.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I am looking for a home with a patient person.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.A volunteer writes: Stressed, fearful, hanging back by himself since he arrived at the Care Center when his human was evicted--we just know there's a special person out there who can reach Kevin and help this tabby boy flourish. Kevin's former person told us wonderful things about him, like that he's a shy-at-first friendly guy who likes to play hide and seek, adores having his coat brushed, enjoys looking out the window, and seeks cuddles and pets when he's in the mood. Kevin came to us with his dad, Midnight Charm (#224714), and he is no doubt missing his lifelong housemate, making his stay with us even more upsetting for him. Kevin has opened up somewhat, allowing some pettings, but this scaredy cat needs a guardian angel to bring him back into a home and give him time to feel safe and secure.
