My story

Looking for a roommate who won’t borrow your clothes or throw wild parties? Meet Roofus—a truly one-of-a-kind Boston Terrier/Pomeranian mix who’s 35 pounds of snaggle-toothed sass. At 3 years old, Roofus is stocky, snorty, and suspicious of joy. He’s basically your grumpy uncle in dog form—and we mean that lovingly. Roofus is the proud founding member of the Fun Police and would like you to know that running, squealing children are NOT invited to his yard (or his life). He thrives in spaces where things don’t get too exciting—think quiet evenings, slow walks, and mutually agreed-upon boundaries. He’s currently in foster care where we’re learning more about his personality, but so far it’s clear: Roofus values stability, personal space, and low-key surroundings. If you’ve got a calm home, a sense of humor, and an appreciation for the “less conventionally cute” things in life… Roofus might just be your soulmate.
