My story

Looking for a loyal, loving companion who enjoys spending time in your lap or by your side? Meet Lionel, a sweet and friendly pup who is ready to find his furever family. He is a 3 year old Havanese mix (likely with Poodle). When Lionel first came to us, he was extremely sick and had to be hospitalized. He is now a happy, healthy pup with a playful spirit. He even has a cute happy dance that he does with his front paws. He may appear shy initially around strangers; however, once he trusts you, his affection and sweetness shine through. His heart is as big as his curly hair and tail are adorable. He also has been very playful with the other dog in his foster home and enjoys being around her and the kids in his foster home. Lionel is blind and may have a few bumps, however he navigates his foster home and backyard well overall, even using the dog door by himself. He also enjoys walks. He's smart and would be able to adapt to new surroundings with time, patience, and care and in a home where he can build trust at his pace.
