My story

Meet Lupe! Lupe is a remarkable survivor with a quiet strength. She came to the shelter with severely infected, ulcerated eyes that, despite every effort, could not be saved. Since then, Lupe has adjusted beautifully to life without sight—and on her own terms. Lupe is not a fan of cuddles or constant attention. She’s an independent spirit who prefers the comfort of solitude and the freedom to roam (or nap) as she pleases. She's looking for a calm, patient home where she can simply be—without expectations of affection or interaction she’s not ready for. If you respect boundaries and believe every cat deserves a peaceful, dignified life, Lupe may be the companion you didn’t know you needed.
