My story

Meet Blizzard! The winter weather is on its way out, but our snuggly Blizzard is looking for his forever family! The Winter Litter pups are pitbull mixes who were born December 27, 2024. Blizzard is a very active boy who craves adventures, excitement, and interaction. He loves to climb, chase leaves, and play chase with other dogs. He is learning to climb obstacles and platforms, as well as how to balance on a bosu ball. Blizzard enjoys playing with toys, being outdoors, and exploring new places and things. After adventuring, he does enjoy a good snuggle session with you. He is very food motivated and eager to learn, making training sessions productive and smooth. He does great on a leash - loves to walk, especially with the big dogs. Blizzy knows many basic commands already, such as “sit”, “crate”, “come”, and is working on “climb”. He is crate trained and is making progress with potty training - no accidents through the night in her crate but needs reminders during the daytime. He is dog and kid friendly, and will likely do well with cats with proper introduction. Blizz’s ideal home and active home where he can continue to explore things, go on walks, and be engaged both physically and mentally. He is young and loves other dogs, so he does need to be in a home with another dog. Kids would be an added bonus! Applicants MUST have an adult dog in the home! Your adult dog will accompany you during the meet and greet, and will help select the best match based on the winter-actions we observe. who gravitates toward you and your dog. Adoption fee is $325 and covers spay/neuter when age appropriate at our vet, vaccines to date of adoption, deworming, microchip, and a clean bill of health.
