My story

Meet Dill!This energetic explorer with a big personality is always on the move, whether she’s scaling patio furniture, hopping over other dogs, or sniffing out hidden treasures on your walks. With a nose for adventure and a heart full of love, she’s the perfect partner for outdoor escapades and couch cuddles alike. Dill is a 1 year old, 10 pound chihuahua mix.She lives for chew toys (seriously, they don’t stand a chance) and playing and cuddling with her sister Basil. Climbing is her favorite sport-chairs, couches, cat trees, you name it. When she’s not conquering her next challenge, she’s showering her humans with affectionate licks and wagging her tail like it’s her full-time job.While Dill will sometimes have accidents if she’s been inside for too long, she does well with regular bathroom breaks. She co-exists well with cats, dogs, and small children and is also kennel trained. She does super well sleeping in the kennel through the night.If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who’s always up for a little adventure, Dill is ready to leap into your life (and probably into your life (and probably your lap too).She’d love to be adopted with her sister Basil, but they do not need to be adopted together.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
