My story
Lucas came to the shelter through no fault of his own. He was trapped by a resident in Shamong and brought to the shelter where he was neutered, microchipped, tipped and tested for Leukemia and FIV. He did test positive for FIV, but cats with this virus can live long & happy lives. FIV cannot be passed to humans, and can only be transmitted to other cats through a deep bite, so please don`t let that deter you from adopting this handsome boy. He is shy and needs a place to decompress and this takes time, sometimes a lot of time. Lucas is about three and a half years old. Do you think you could give Lucas a chance? His adoption fee has been waived by the county.
