Carrot Cake

My story

Mama Cake, Carrot Cake's mom was abandoned by her owners when they moved. Thankfully their neighbors took notice and started feeding her. They reached out to us for help and we were planning on taking her in, then surprise! She gave birth to her litter on April 28, 2024. Carrot Cake was diagnosed with FIP last year, and thankfully only experienced mild symptoms for less than a week. He still went through the entire treatment, which was several months long. He has finished treatment and was cleared for adoption! While in his foster home, we performed a fecal PCR as we do with all of our adult cats before they go into the lounge. Unfortunately, this test came back with Tritrichomonas. He is currently finishing up his treatment, and we will be retesting him in the next couple of weeks! Carrot cake LOVES other cats, to play, and snuggle!!! He is so sweet and we absolutely love him. Mama and all of her other children have been adopted, and we cannot wait for Carrot Cake to find his forever home!April 20, 2025, 4:55 pm
