My story

When we first met Dolly at the county shelter, we were immediately drawn to this sad, broken mama dog. Her fragile body told a gruesome tale, and we knew she needed us. We did everything in our power to bring her to the sanctuary and provide the care she so desperately needed. Dolly has since been on the road to recovery and is doing wonderfully! Today, she is happy, healthy, and ready for her forever home. Dolly is a professionally trained, 5-year-old Pitbull mix. In addition to being professionally trained, Dolly is completely vetted and comes vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She’s a sweet older gal with a soft gaze and a gentle, slow tail wag. We often joke that she gives "cold kisses"—and they are simply the best! We can’t wait to find Dolly the amazing home she deserves.
