My story

Meet Rio!This gorgeous pup is a 3 year old Shepherd mix who weighs about 43 pounds. Rio arrived in our care severely emaciated and is still gaining weight, so he will likely be over 60 pounds when he`s a healthy weight. He has been blossoming in our care and showing us his wonderful and playful personality. His favorite time of the day is walk time and he is always ready to go on an outdoor adventure with you by his side. Rio can be nervous with new dogs and isn`t quite sure how to interact yet, so he needs a slow introduction to new dogs to form a lasting bond. Since he is such a sweetheart, he could live in a home with kids ages 10 and up and could show potential with younger kids as well. Rio is a lovable pup who can`t wait to find a family to call his own. If Rio looks too cute to pass up, stop in to meet him today!
