My story

Meet Mae - Mae came to us as a local surrender because she cannot be at a home with chickens. Mae turned 1 in March. Mae is a Pomsky (Pomeranian & Husky mix but more husky then pomeranian. She weighs about 24 lbs. Mae is housebroken and the foster family tried crate training but she was a complete mess and afraid she would hurt herself, so she is not crate trained. Mae can be in a home with another dog but she likes to be the boss. She loves to be the center of attention so would do great as an only dog too. Mae loves taking walks and going on car rides.  It would be ideal for her to go to a home with a fenced yard as she has lots of energy. It is also important to be out with her and not just let her loose in the yard. She will need a home with a strong pack leader. I am not sure how she is around cats.  Mae definitely needs a home without chickens or even neighbors with chickens because if she knows there are chickens around, she will figure out a way to get out of the house to get one. She is a super smart girl who needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Mae is now spayed and up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm and has been started on monthly heartworm prevention.
