My story

How this pet arrived: This pet was brought in by their previous owner. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Bane! When Bane arrived in our care he struggled with his emotional responses to everyday sights and sounds-cars, bikes, and especially other dogs. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our Animal Care Team and Canine Companions, Bane has made incredible progress and is now a fantastic walking companion. Bane is a smart and playful pup who loves a good game of fetch. He already knows "sit" and "shake," and with gentle guidance, he has learned to stay calm and composed when spotting other dogs on walks. While he'll benefit from continued patience and training in his new home, he's a quick learner and absolutely worth the effort! The one thing that remains non-negotiable? Cats. Bane isn't a fan (but hey, nobody's purrfect). Bane is strongly recommended for a home that can reasonably manage dog exposures through barriers, such as fences, and on leash while on walking routes around home. If you're looking for a devoted, intelligent, and fun-loving companion, Bane might just be the match for you! At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered.
