My story

Rachel is at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N. Wood St.) You can visit our Adoption Center at any time during open hours, no appointment needed. Rachel is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Rachel is still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Rachel: Housebroken: Working on it! She has been doing well when on a consistent routine, going out every 3-4 hours. Crate trained: Working on it and doing well so far! She has been left at home alone for up to 2.5 hours so far, and has done well after taking a short time to settle initially. Leash walking: She is still new to leash walking, as a young pup, so will need to keep working on this! Dog social: Yes! Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown, but we suspect she'd do well with respectful kids, given her young age Rachel likes: - Exploring! - Playtime with her siblings - Cuddle time with her person - Hanging out at cafes Rachel is a loving little gal who is just as fashionable and relatable as her namesake Friend. She is playful and fun, and loves to learn and use her brain too! She is still learning all about the big new world around her, and would love an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings. OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. Rachel's adoption fee is $350, and this little gal is excited to grow up in her forever home!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rachel, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
