My story

Location: Minneapolis, MN Meet Tesoro, the tripod wonderdog! Tesoro came into rescue in pretty bad shape. He had a severe case of mange, a broken leg, and a mouthful of broken teeth. After some teeth extraction, a rear leg amputation, some medicated baths, and lots and lots of TLC, he is a new dog! Tesoro's personality has really started to shine through. He's is goofy, silly, playful, and so so sweet. Tesoro may take a few days to warm up to you and would do best with slow introductions to other pets. But it's worth the wait because once he feels safe and comfortable he is a really amazing dog, the biggest love bug and he gets along great with my resident dog. Tesoro is potty trained, loves to go on walks, take lots of naps, and play with his squeaky toys. But his favorite time of day is meal time. He will even do a little dance for you while he's waiting for his food bowl. He is also very treat motivated which will come in handy when it comes to training. Tesoro had a rough start in life but is a great dog and deserves a loving forever home. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
