My story

Meet Maneater (Manny)! At just 3 months old and 18 pounds of pure squish, Manny is a happy-go-lucky Hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This playful pup is full of energy, charm, and cuddles—and he’s ready to find his forever home! Manny is the kind of dog who turns heads and hearts. With his constantly wagging tail and cartoon-dog energy, he’s always ready to play, explore, and make new friends. He’s never met a stranger—he happily trots up to anyone willing to give him a little attention. Manny loves other dogs and plays for hours with his foster brother. Toys are even more fun when another dog is playing too! While he’s still young and learning the ropes, he’s already crate trained, house trained, and puppy pad trained. He’s been on a leash in the apartment and is getting used to it—though he’s still figuring out that it’s not a chew toy. Cuddling is one of Manny’s favorite pastimes. When he’s done playing, he’ll snuggle up next to his foster mom or try to curl up with his foster sibling for a cozy nap. He’s also a big fan of belly rubs, head scratches, and Wellness puppy treats. This sweet boy hasn’t shown any signs of barking, resource guarding, or unwanted behaviors. He’s super responsive to “no,” and loosely follows commands like “sit” and “come.” Manny does well on the subway and is still getting used to car rides (he may get a bit carsick), but overall, he travels just fine. Manny would thrive in a home with another playful pup or a human who’s ready to keep up with his fun-loving energy and cuddle-filled naps.
