My story

Are you a fan of American Ninja Warrior? If you’re unfamiliar, it’s a reality show where people compete by quickly traversing a course comprised of insanely difficult obstacles. Athletes run, jump, swing, hang, and leap their way to victory! We’ve currently got a pup at the shelter who we think could be in the running for PACC’s Ninja Warrior! Meet Petey, an athletic, handsome young guy who would love to train with you! Here’s what one volunteer had to say:“Petey is a very cool pup! I took him out to a play yard today to see if he would want to play with me. I tossed a ball, which he immediately ran after. He didn’t bring it back to me right away, but we kept trying and eventually he was reliably bringing it back and trading the ball for a treat! He’s a very athletic guy, albeit a little clumsy. He loves to leap into the air to try and catch the ball. He doesn’t always get it, but man, he puts his whole heart into trying! He warmed up the longer we played together and by the end of our time, he was accepting and enjoying head scratches and pets.”Petey shares his kennel with another PACC pup. When meeting other dogs in playgroup he tends to keep to himself and explore but does warm up with time and engage in play.
