My story

Pleakly is everything you could ever want in a Labrador. Silly face, playful, and walks AMAZING on a leash. He can be shy sometimes meeting new people at first but blooms very well and turns into a social butterfly once he’s comfortable. He loves snacks (such as any lab) but toys are the way to his heart. He loves crinkly and squeaky toys, but doesn’t seem to interested in shredding or ripping toys. He also is a slow chewer and loves to just sit and enjoy his snacks. A rarity for his breed! While he prefers a home without kids or cats, Pleakly has had fantastic behavior with other dogs here at the shelter. Loose body, gives and receives sniffs very nicely. He is tolerant of pushy dogs and disengages well. Pleakly would thrive in both high and low energy homes as his off switch is fantastic. He can walk all day or just sit and nap, he just wants to be with you. Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.
