Hi! My name is Dora and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on March 29, 2025.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!I am an adaptable cat who loves to go with the flow! I am outgoing and carefree, and I just can`t wait to find my forever home!Medical WaiverYour new pet received a basic physical exam, in addition to routine vaccines, deworming, and topical flea preventative, if indicated. Although your new pet is ready for adoption, there is always a possibility of additional medical conditions that have not been detected or may develop in the future. Current medical conditions are noted below.1) Resolving skin wounds and inflammation. Fur is regrowing. Condition may have been due to injury or could be related to allergies. Routine flea control is recommended.2) Broken upper canine teeth and moderate dental disease.A dental exam and radiographs under anesthesia are recommended. Fractured teeth that affect the pulp canal often need extracted. Please consult with your veterinarian for the best treatment plan.3) This cat has a history of soft stool and decreased body condition. The cause is unknown. She has been treated for parasites. She is currently on a hypoallergenic diet plus fiber supplement and probiotics. If she does not respond to this diet, other novel protein diets may be recommended by your veterinarian. Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and less commonly lymphoma, can have these symptoms. Further diagnostics or treatments may be indicated if the condition does not improve.4) Heart murmur - a mild grade II/VI heart murmur was heard. This may be stress/benign/physiologic, indicative of systemic/underlying health issues (i.e. anemia, hyperthyroidism, other) (less likely given normal bloodwork), and/or underlying heart disease. May need to follow up with your regular veterinarian or a veterinary cardiologist. Please monitor for any lethargy, exercise intolerance, difficulty breathing, or pale or blue gums.Additional care for these conditions may be needed after adoption. Please follow up with your regular veterinarian.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt DORA, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
