My story

Meet Elphelt!If the goofy ears and the big puppy dog eyes don't win you over then we're not sure what to tell you but it sounds like you might be broken and should have that checked out 😬Elphelt is the sweetest four year old beagle/pittie mix (all of her paperwork says beagle mix) and she's a perfect medium size at about 42lbs. Her goal in life is to be friends with everyone and everything. Once she makes eye contact with you, that's it, you're best friends. Sorry, we don't make the rules. It's Elphelt's world and we're just living in it.This girl's enthusiasm is endless! She loves walks, loves people, loves other dogs, and probably loves you too! She can be a bit pully on her leash when she's first brought out of her kennel but that's just the enthusiasm talking - she calms down quickly enough and then she gets a bouncy trot going with those ears flopping, having the time of her life at your side! When we say she loves other dogs, we mean she LOVES other dogs. She's a bouncy bundle of excitement right off the bat and can come off a bit too strong for some dogs so someone that can match her joy and also doesn't know boundaries would be the best match for her. Same with cats - she's fine with cats as long as they're dog-savvy and aren't going to run away or slap her. Since she was found as a stray and we don't have much of a history on her, we would prefer kids 12+ though could potentially be okay with kids as young as 8yo with the right family. Elphelt can entertain herself for HOURS playing with her toys, she doesn't mind baths, and she's super cute 😍 This girl has no red flags. None. Zip.
