BROOKLYN

My story

  Brooklyn is a beautiful red Pit mix girl that was found running in a neighborhood as a stray and a kind man took her to help her with a safe and secure place to stay.  She is approximately 2 years old, 46 lbs and is so warm and friendly with all people she meets.  She has a real sweetness about her that we think will be a great asset for her in a new home.  Recently the kind man who rescued her, experienced some life changes and she is with his sister and she is watching over this girl each and every day.  She is great on a leash as she walks through the neighborhood with her foster mom.  She is not a fan of really small dogs.  She had puppies in the recent past but we know nothing about where they are or anything about her before being loose in the neighborhood.  She is a sweet girl and has wonderful house manners and is living with another dog very nicely.  Housebroken and crate trained, she is not destructive with furniture and just seems to have a smile for everyone. Brooklyn is so young at heart with oodles of energy that need to be satisfied.   A fenced yard would be of great help and a person that has time to train her basic commands and also give her time to wear herself out.    After all,  don't we all feel so much better having worked out and come home exhausted, feeling like  we’ve accomplished something. Dogs love that too, it makes sitting on the couch with you, watching a movie, so much better and relaxed.   Brooklyn is spayed and up on her vaccines and rabies. She loves toys and balls and we are wanting her in a mature home with older kids and no small breed dogs.  She is just too much energy for the small ones in life.
