Lemur was a stray who was trapped around 2.5-3 months of age (July ’24), and she’s been inside learning the joys of being a house cat ever since! She is extremely playful, loves other cats and dogs and rarely stops moving. If she does, she’s usually curled up with another cat or in the sunshine near the bird feeder. However, she hasn’t yet figured out that humans aren’t scary. She always wants to be near you, but never on you. Her foster really believes she’ll be a lap cat at some point but will need a family understanding that she needs space until she’s 100% comfortable. She’s very curious and will always check in you throughout the day, even going so far as to sniff you or accept a smell of your hand if you offer it to her but she won’t tolerate touch at this point. In the evenings, she’ll often sit on the couch, but not close enough for pets. Occasionally, she’ll even cuddle against your legs for a nap if you have a blanket! Lemur’s favorite play time is every night at bedtime! She waits in bed for treats and toys – she loves to play with stick toys or feathers, or chase springs… as well as chasing your toes under the covers. Lemur would do best in a home with other animals as they really comfort her. She never hesitated to love her foster's 80 lbs dog and is desperate to be besties with all other cats she meets. Lemur is currently in foster care. Please contact our adoption specialists at adoption@kittyrevolution.org or submit an application to meet them.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lulu Lemur, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
