My story

COCO**10 MONTH OLD HUSKY MIX**42 POUNDS**FEMALE Coco is being fostered in the Richmond, VA area. If you are interested in Coco, please go to www.momsva.org and complete an application. Coco is a 10 month old Husky mix full of energy. She weighs 42 lbs and loves to play fetch and go for long walks. She loves to cuddle on the sofa and receive affection. Coco is working on crate training and learning basic commands. Coco has been diagnosed with juvenile cataracts which has negatively affected her vision. She will have one more appointment with an eye specialist to evaluate the progression of her vision loss before scheduling cataract surgery, which should correct her vision problems. As Coco's vision has deteriorated we have noticed a lack of confidence in her which we hope will improve once her vision is restored. The expectation is that Coco will once again be the outgoing girl that she used to be. Right now she is shy when meeting people, but does come around with time and patience. At this time, we are looking for a foster to adopt arrangement with Coco. The approved applicant will foster Coco through her eye surgery which MOMSVA will pay for. After the final recheck by the eye specialist, we will then proceed with the adoption if both parties wish to move forward. If you think you're interested in Coco, please go to www.momsva.org and complete an application.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Coco, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
