My story

Iris came into rescue with several medical issues, including a bulging eye that needed to be removed as well as multiple masses on her abdomen that needed to be removed. She had severe dental disease and needed an umbilical hernia repair. Now that the medical problems have been taken care of, Iris is raring to go. She is a five-year-old Pomeranian mix and is the sweetest and most loving dog. Good with other dogs and totally housebroken. WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs. If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name. Adoption fee of $440 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue. We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive.
