My story

Barron | 1.5 years old | 58lbs Hi there, my name is Barron! I was procured from Clay County Animal Services in November of 2024 to join K9s For Warriors Service Dog program! Recently I have decided I would be better suited as a fun playful companion, rather than having to work for a living. I can easily be described as a clever, eager-to-please pup always ready to show off my skills for a tasty treat! When it comes to my ideal household, I really thrive with consistency in a low traffic environment where I can have all the undivided attention as the only animal. While I have yet to make dog friends on campus, I really adore my toy playtime, especially if my beloved stuffies are out and about! Whether it's going on sniff-ari adventures, practicing my skills, or enjoying some toy time, these activities are the quickest way to build a strong bond with me.
