MARGARET NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Margaret and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (05/04) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria, VA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!   Name: Margaret        Best Guess for Breed:  Chihuahua mix   Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of April 2025         SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   17 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!    Currently Living at:  Vieques, PR shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get on a freedom flight up here on 5/3/25!   Special adoption considerations:  Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to   Margaret is Looking For:  Her forever home! This sweet mama did a fantastic job raising her babies Monsieur, Maggie, Meg, Margie, Maribelle, Margo, Mette, Malcolm, and Mark and they've gone off to find their homes. Now Margaret knows her own humans are somewhere here in the DC area and can't wait to meet them. She's got so much on her wish list - sniffy walks by her humans' side, romps in parks, all the adventures they can dream up. And quality kibble and a cushy dog bed - and lots and lots of snuggles and cuddles!Margaret may be small but the love in her heart for her humans is enormous. She can't wait to bestow upon her family all the adoring gazes and little tail wags and loving companionship she's storing up for them! What do you say? What My Foster Says About Me:   We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster.  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
