My story

This is "Oreo". Oreo is a Yorkie. She is 2 years and 6 months old and she weighs about 13 pounds. Oreo is a very friendly and sweet little girl. Sadly, Oreo comes to us from a very neglectful home. It is hard to believe that a cute little dog like Oreo could be so neglected. We think Oreo has never been to a veterinarian. Well, we took care of that! Oreo went to the veterinarian and she got spayed, she got her shots, she tested negative for heartworm and she was given a heartworm preventative. We also think Oreo has never been to a groomer. Well, we took care of that too! Oreo went to the groomer and she got the works! Oreo got a bath, she got a beautiful haircut and she even got her nails clipped (no nail polish though!). The first picture of Oreo is Oreo in the car on her way home from the groomer! She sure looks great, she feels better and she is very happy! In Oreo's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. Oreo will make a great companion for someone. She does need someone that will have time for her and does not work all day, maybe works a half day, because she still needs some "potty" training. You MUST own your own home. You MUST own your own condo. Absolutely no apartments. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Oreo is $400.00. No credit cards. If you are interested in Oreo, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. Oreo can be seen by appointment or you can meet her on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. Oreo sure hopes to see you! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Oreo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
