My story

Meet Squash – Small in Size, Big on Fun! At just 8 months old and 31 pounds, Squash is a compact bundle of energy, personality, and love! This super fun and playful boy is ready to bounce his way into your heart and home. Squash is full of zest and excitement, especially when meeting new people—he might jump up to say hello, but with a little redirection and time, he settles down nicely and will happily sit for some well-earned treats and attention. He can be a bit timid or anxious in new situations, but don’t let that fool you—he warms up quickly and soon shows his true, joyful self. This little guy rides pretty well in the car, with just a bit of excitement to work through. With a little more practice, he’ll be the perfect co-pilot for all your adventures. On leash, he’s doing okay but could use a bit of fine-tuning—nothing some treats and consistency can’t handle! Squash absolutely loves to play, especially with other dogs. He’s dog-friendly and enjoys having a playful companion to romp around with. After a good play session, he’s all about those pets and cuddles—he knows how to balance fun with affection. If you’re looking for a cheerful, spirited pup who’s full of potential and eager to bond, Squash might just be your perfect match. Come meet him and see how much joy one young dog can bring! Squash is currently being fostered by Hounds Town Greensboro-Guilford Doggie Daycare and is available for adoption. He can be adopted directly from the facility after an approved application from GCAS has been submitted to us and you've met Squash in person.
