My story

Meet Kkoma, an 8-month-old spayed female Jindo mix with a charming brown and white coat. Weighing in at 10.2 kg and standing 46 cm tall at the shoulder, Kkoma was rescued at just around 3 months old in late November 2024. She was one of three puppies born to a mama dog who had been tied up outside a countryside home—Kkoma’s journey began in a tough spot, but she’s come a long way since then. Kkoma is a little shy when she first arrives in a new place, but give her about an hour and she’ll warm right up! Once she settles in, she becomes affectionate and sociable—not just with her favorite people but even with strangers. She’ll happily lean in for pets and has no problem being picked up, even when cradled from underneath. She gets along great with both men and women, though she hasn’t yet had the chance to meet children under 13. This social butterfly also loves other dogs! Whether it’s a familiar playmate or a brand-new friend, Kkoma is always ready to say hello and invite them to play. She does especially well with dogs her size or larger, and just avoids any troubles with super high energy-she knows how to keep things drama-free. Out on walks, Kkoma is a delight. She doesn’t pull on the leash and prefers to take her time sniffing around, often stopping to explore smells as she strolls. She’s curious about cats when she sees them but easily redirects and follows her person’s lead. We’d be happy to test her with cats or birds if needed. With a moderate energy level, Kkoma enjoys outdoor adventures but knows how to relax and recharge afterward. She’s quiet, not food-protective, and stays calm in crate. She’s also nearly fully housebroken, preferring to do her business outside. Kkoma is a sweet, gentle soul who’s looking for a loving home to continue her journey—could it be with you?
