My story

Hi there! My name is Belfi and here are some info about me: Breed: Cairn Terrier  Age: 2 years old  Gender: male  Weight: 10 kg If you need a best friend, I am the pup for you. I lived in a home with a drug addict. At the time, I had eye problems as well as an infection. Thankfully, I was treated by a nice hooman and given to a woman in Middle East. Although I was loved by her, she could no longer keep me due to no faults of my own. I was then taken to a boarding house.   I am a sweet, gentle boy who gets along with both dogs and hoomans. I am a good boy and don’t chew on furniture or personal belongings. I also am not sensitive with my own personal belongings and do not resource guard. I am a moderate energy boy and would like to join you on car rides too! We can be the best of friends.  I will do best in a home where I do not have to be in an enclosed space like a crate as I do get bored.  Energy level: moderate  Amount of shedding: Low I get along with: Dogs: yes Cats: unknown  Kids: yes Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.  Leash skills: yes House trained: yes I have been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.  My adoption fee is $850 CAD plus applicable taxes. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver . While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Due to ongoing limits on Vancouver flights yet, additional fees will apply if flying from another city. Unaccompanied Cargo costs within Canada: $275-$500 per dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. I will be on the first available flight, as I need to leave the Middle East as soon as possible. If a flight directly to Vancouver is not found quickly after I've found a family, the extra cost for cargo to Vancouver will not be optional. You will NOT be asked to pay a passemger fee in addition to this though. *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza.
