My story

Hi Everyone. Meet Mau, a sweet and gentle 9-year-old spayed girl with a charming black heart marking on her nose! Though a little shy at first, this lovely lady blossoms into a devoted friend, especially to her human family and other furry companions – she even shares snuggle time with a 58-pound Husky mix! Mau loves to spend her days lounging and cuddling with her brother, Jack. Mau and Jack are best friends and would love to be adopted together. While Mau appreciates affection, she can be a bit sensitive to over-petting, making her a wonderful match for homes with older children or adults who can respect her space. Mau can’t wait to meet you! We respond to daily emergencies, fully vet each cat, release ferals back into their colonies, rehabilitate some, make sick cats well, hold adoption fairs, educate the public, and place a strong emphasis on sourcing donations through events & fundraisers so that this work may continue.
