My story

Fiona is ready to join you on your next adventure, and afterwards in your lap. She loves people of all shapes and sizes and is currently in a foster home with two young children. She loves to play play play with anyone who will join her. She loves playing fetch and with toys, and she also enjoys a good romp with other dogs. She would love to have a playful canine companion in her new home. We do not know how she would do in a home with cats as she has not been exposed to them in her foster home. Fiona loves family life, and has enjoyed outings to the playground, walks around the neighborhood, and hikes. She is the perfect medium sized (about 40lbs), medium energy family dog. She walks well on leash, is crate trained and potty trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. She knows basic commands like sit and stay, and she is a smart girl eager to learn more.  At 2 years old, she still has her puppy-like playfulness without the puppy-like desire to eat your furniture. She came to the shelter with her newborn litter of puppies.  She and her pups went to one of our foster homes so she could raise her babies there, and now she is ready to start a fresh life with her own family. Please email her foster mom at slshintaku@gmail.com to meet Fiona today!
