My story

MBR holds monthly adoption events on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Tractor Supply in Columbia Station, 24100 Royalton Road from 11 am - 2 pm. Questions can be emailed to rescue@mbrohio.com Meet Phoebe, a sweet and fearless little puppy with a big personality! Currently weighing in at just over 10lbs, Phoebe is expected to be medium in size when fully grown. Phoebe’s sibling had a DNA test and it has been determined that they are a mix of Golden Retriever (34%), Poodle (19%), Staffordshire Terrier (23%), and Pit Bull Terrier (21%). Phoebe is full of life and adventure. At just 3-months-old, Phoebe is teething, so Nylabones are one of her absolute favorite things. Phoebe also loves tennis balls and will chase them down with excitement! Phoebe is still learning what is acceptable to consider a toy and has a hilarious habit of stealing shoes that are bigger than she is. Phoebe loves being held. She is a total cuddle bug who thrives on attention and affection. At such a young age, Phoebe is already showing some serious FOMO (fear of missing out). Even when she’s being held, she’s checking out what’s going on around her and can’t wait to join in on the fun! As Phoebe grows more confident, she’s starting to play with bigger dogs, and it’s absolutely adorable to watch! She’s already seeking them out for playtime, showing that she’s not afraid of anything. At times, Phoebe likes to assert her dominance over the resident dogs in her foster home. Fearless and curious, Phoebe is still learning how to interact with the pack and although she can bossy, she seems to be taking their corrections well. While Phoebe is still in the process of potty training, she’s proven to be incredibly well-behaved in her crate. After an initial rough patch, she’s adjusted beautifully, and we have no doubt she’ll continue to develop good manners as she grows. Phoebe is still a puppy and will need a patient family to help her continue to learn things like basic commands, how to walk on a leash, and potty training. This sweet girl is well on her way to being the perfect little companion for anyone lucky enough to have her! Phoebe’s combination of playfulness, curiosity, and snuggly nature will surely steal your heart. If you’re looking for a loving, adventurous pup who’s as sweet as she is fearless, Phoebe is the one for you! If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, the first thing to do is submit an application for approval. All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the rescue location as it is a privately run boarding, training & grooming facility. Individual meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 3 months Adoption fee: $500

If you have any questions or would like to adopt PHOEBE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
