My story

ADOPT CHIP! 💙 Meet Chip—a 2-year-old, 80-pound bundle of pure love and outdoor energy! This sweet and affectionate boy is looking for his forever adventure partner. Chip absolutely thrives on fresh air and fun. Whether it's hiking, exploring, or just soaking up the sunshine, he's your go-to buddy for all things outdoors. He’s a fantastic leash walker, already knows tricks like ‘sit’ and ‘paw,’ and despite his size, he’s convinced he’s a lap dog—expect lots of kisses and cuddles! Chip does well with other dogs, but he does exhibit a dominant personality. He would be best suited for a home with another dog that is confident & can keep him in check! Chip would also be best suited for an experienced dog owner, likely not a first time pet parent. When he’s not adventuring, Chip enjoys downtime too—he hasn’t been destructive in his shelter office and somehow resists stealing snacks off the desk! He loves stuffed animals!
