My story

Hello! My name is Harvey!I`m a big love bug just looking for some snuggles! With this, though, I should tell you, I like to jump up to be as close as I can and get the best cuddles. I`m a smart cookie though and am learning that most humans prefer I keep four on the floor, so with a bit of consistent and positive training, I`ll be a dream doggo in no time! After a nice walk or run in the yard, I seem to be pretty good at chilling out and resting, sometimes with my favorite toy.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok. Given my size and exuberance, I wouldn’t be ideal for a home with young children. OTHER DOGS: Yes, I would love a dog friend to run and wrestle with!CATS: Potentially, with a very confident cat and owners who have done a cat-dog intro before since I may be a lot for the cat at first.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: No, I would do best with humans who have had dogs before. FENCED-IN YARD: Highly recommended given my size and energy.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: I seem to really enjoy being with my people, so I would love a home where I’m only left for a few hours at most and not a full work day.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. HOUSE-TRAINED: I seem to have some house-training skills but I do still like to lift my leg on new smells so expect some accidents as I adjust.
