Janie

My story

Janie is a sweet, happy girl that needs lots of TLC in her life! She came from a not so great situation and she's ready for a new start. She may be 10 and a big girl, but she still has pep in her step. She enjoys a good sunbathing session too! She did live with another dog in her last home. Foster notes: She's GREAT with dogs! Even if a stranger dog is barking and growling at her in public, she seems unfazed. She's done fine with our cat after a proper introduction. She's too curious about small animals to trust her completely with them. She's done great with adults and children who she meets in public. She's only barked at one man. She's mostly potty trained but if you leave her too long (several hours), she decides she has no other choice. Overall, she's a great housemate! She loves to go for car rides and short walks (she'll enjoy longer once she gets some weight off). If we aren't going somewhere, she's content to lounge around.
