My story

How this pet arrived: Hello was brought in by a community member. Why Heilo might be the one for you:Heilo is a fun-loving, active and resilient guy who recently recovered from an elbow injury. He's now ready to rock & roll, with you by his side! A volunteer recently took Heilo out for an adventure. It started with Heilo jumping into the car and being a very polite passenger. Although he was excited to be out for an adventure, he kept his excitement under wraps because he wants to be a good dog. He was easy to leash and walk. There were people and dogs all around, but again, he was a good dog and did not get overly excited. Heilo knows sit, down and maybe some other commands. He enjoyed a pup cup before returning from his adventure. He hopes that his next adventure will be to his new home with caring folks who love him and will be patient/understanding if he gets overly excited. Building up his confidence in his new home with patience, positive reinforcement and plenty of love, Hello will thrive. He would do best in a home being the only pet and without the hustle and bustle of young children.
