My story

PICKLES is a black and white, short-haired male tuxedo teenager kitten with a distinctive white half mustache. He is looking for a forever home which includes attentive humans. Pickles is a bit shy initially but will warm up once you gain his trust and confidence. He is playful and especially enjoys small balls and toys he can bat around. Pickles is extremely smart – he has learned to meow to get his humans to open doors for him! (But he does not look to escape) He was found with his mama and siblings under a house, rescued, and is now ready to have a place to call home. Pickles must be adopted with his brother (SONIC), with his mom FANCY (see picture), or into a home that already has another playful young cat or kitten. PICKLES has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. His adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet PICKLES at the Cat Lounge, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you for a possible meet-and-greet at the Eugene Springfield Cat Lounge, 537 W. Centennial Blvd., Springfield.  The $175 adoption fee ($320/2 teenagers or $300 with his mom FANCY) allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
