My story

Punky Mewster is an 8-month-old tuxedo girl with short legs, a round little belly, and the most alert, curious eyes you’ve ever seen. She started life as a stray and was initially meant to be trapped, spayed, and released. But something about Punky felt different—so instead, she was given a rare chance to learn about the safety and warmth of indoor living. She has a quiet presence, but her personality is blooming day by day—and watching her come out of her shell has been nothing short of magical. When she first arrived, Punky was too shy to be touched, preferring to hide and observe from afar. Now? She hops into bed to say hello, meows sweetly when she’s hungry or wants some feline company, and settles in to quietly supervise your day from a cozy perch. She especially loves lounging by windows, watching birds, and hanging out with other cats. Punky thrives in a calm, patient home with friendly cats who like to cuddle and play—she’s still learning how to trust people fully, and having confident cat friends makes a huge difference. She’s also completely unfazed by dogs, as long as they’re respectful. If you’re the kind of person who feels joy in earning an animal’s trust and watching them blossom, Punky Mewster just might be your new little sidekick. She’s got a lot of love to give—it’s just tucked behind a shy smile and a soft purr (for now).
