My story

Rosie is a 6-year-old coonhound with a heart as big as her beautiful floppy ears! This girl adores every person she meets and has never met a lap she didn’t want to snuggle into. True to her hound nature, Rosie has a classic, expressive voice and isn’t afraid to use it—especially when she’s excited to see you! Rosie is a certified cat cuddler and has a gentle, respectful way of bonding with feline friends. She also seems to thrive in the company of other dogs, and we believe she'd be happiest in a home with a canine buddy to keep her company. While Rosie is incredibly affectionate and loyal, she does have some separation anxiety and is currently on medication to help manage it. A patient and understanding adopter who can continue supporting her in this area—ideally with a flexible schedule or another dog for companionship—would be a dream come true. Rosie is ready to bring joy, love, and a little hound-song to her forever home. Could that be you?
