My story

Look at this beautiful pup! Mason is potty-trained, crate-trained, and low-shedding. He loves all dogs he's met. If that all sounds good and you have a great sense of humor, you should also know he’s an absolute menace to society and the worst, best foster dog we’ve ever had. He jumps into the shower with you, he has a killer right hook, he uses your body as a catapult when he’s running, he grabs your everyday household items and makes a run for it. AARF rescued him on his final day at a kill shelter, and we were the suckers that fell in the trap to foster him😂 But if you’re thinking, man my college kid really needs karma like this! Or maybe you’re into laughing hysterically at constant antics? You should definitely meet Mason! Note: not recommended for small kids or small humans 🥴. Come meet our adoptable dogs on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm in the backyard at AARF's new location- 302 Thurston St, W-S. Go to AARFWS.org to view and apply for our AARF dogs. Information about the process is available on our website. Remember that we do not adopt more than a 45-minute radius from our facility in Winston Salem.
